FABIANA

Queridos Craig & Nina, I would like to being with a memory from February 22, 2016.
On that lovely day, I decided to visit Tata at her residence for lunch. I love that it happened to be the very day you were born.

Hearing Tata call to wish you a happy birthday filled me with joy.
Witnessing the connection between the two of you, so natural and sincere, was a precious gift, one that I still remember
with great affection. I’m sharing the audio recording I made during that phone call. At the time, I was working on a documentary honoring Tata's life, and whenever I sensed a moment that revealed her loving, tender side, I tried to preserve it in one way or another.

Although I wish I had more memories of time spent with you and Nina in person, there are three moments from
Lo's birthday in Ixtapan de la Sal that have stayed with me.

First, the heavenly massage you gifted us was pure apapacho from the inside out. I felt truly seen and loved,
and I want to thank you once again for that moment.

Second, simply observing you Nina, with your gentleness, elegance, and presence has been another profound gift. You have shown us what it means to embody temperance with such grace.

Lastly, I feel incredibly fortunate to have listened to you speak about nuestro abuelo, Craig, with such depth, honesty,
and the brilliance that has always distinguished you. Sitting together, listening attentively as you revealed
parts of his story while gently demystifying others, was an experience of immense significance.
It is a legacy we were meant to witness and listen in person, and one we will carry with us for the rest of our lives.

Thank you, Craig and Nina, for showing me that kindness, generosity, and a deep care for family are what truly endure.
They are what strengthen love and keep us united across generations.

With all my love,
 Fabiana & Konamor

I

A veces íbamos solos, otras veces yo podía invitar a Mónica Circuit mi mejor amiga.

Ahora no importa.

 III

Moni y yo, no parábamos

Olía a fiesta

LANDER S.

Dearest Nina,

I want to share some beautiful memories with you—moments that have stayed with me and will remain in my heart forever.

I loved and enjoyed watching you help the kids early in the mornings, getting them all dressed up for school with boots, gloves,
hats, and heavy jackets, ready to face the cold weather and the heavy snow. I still picture you marking specific dates on plastic
sealed bags before putting food in the freezer, and buying those rubber shoes (Suecos)
with Adriana and Daniela in that amazing food market.

I fondly remember the dogs warming up in front of the fireplace during wonderful Christmases, raking the autumn leaves,
and driving the green tractor during hot summers. Your garage was truly organized, with all the tools and toys perfectly hung, and huge garbage cans separating diapers, glass, and paper. I remember the dogs' plastic access hole and the warm
flooring in the garage—and how they were not allowed inside the house during summer because of the ticks!

It was so peaceful watching birds, squirrels, and deer out the living room window. I remember driving the old blue Oldsmobile,
and sometimes the red Ferrari, down West Street into Concord and beyond. The best part of those drives was
finding you jogging every day, your hands beautifully and naturally painted orange from carrots.

There are so many other vivid flashes of our time there: the kids' paintings hanging all over the huge basement walls, meals at the Rusty Scupper restaurant, and Lorenz / Bishop's roast beef. I laugh thinking about the fat babysitter who ate all of my frozen M&M's,
and hearing Craig L. Burr sing Fleetwood Mac’s The Chain as if he were Mick Fleetwood himself. Most importantly, your beautiful, supportive, and accepting smile is still a great picture in my head.

Your artwork was amazing, like the painted wall in Matthew and Lander’s room featuring the barn with them in it, horses, and obviously,
your carrots growing deliciously close to the green tractor. Watching you nurse Matthew was so incredible; your love and dedication transmitted directly into my heart—a most wonderful lesson.

Names and places still echo clearly: Minka, Cassey, Littleton. I remember how Craig never missed enjoying his English Beefeater Gin before those cozy and delicious meals, kept nicely and handy in the pantry over the washer and dryer.
And I remember the pipes bursting during winter, which was such a big problem and kept Craig so nervous,
anxious, upset, and worried.

My memories go even further back to Cambridge, when you lived with your roommate who was studying to be a water biologist.
When I first met you at the Mexico City airport, I almost fainted when I realized what a beautiful woman I was so lucky to call my cuñada.
After your warm hugs and kisses, I was feeling over the moon—and then I saw your amazing
monkey finger and instantly fell in love with you.

I remember one night sleeping in the guest room with the window facing the garage entrance. I heard a very loud noise at 2:00 AM,
and it was your cousin Joeffrey driving his BMW straight into the roundabout at the end of the driveway at 236 West Street!

Do you remember that beautiful golden retriever? I named him Redbone when I found him at 2:00 AM wandering around downtown
Aspen one summer in 1997. I was driving with my friend Claudio Castro (Cleo) to spend some days in Carlisle. After a very
long story that you surely remember, we had to drive to Logan Airport with my gorgeous friend Diane Rivers to put
Redbone on a plane back to Aspen, reuniting him with his very happy owner after a month apart.

Your loving care for Craig and the kids was always present. I loved watching them play baseball in the fall, surrounded by the amazing, gorgeously colored trees. From your times living in Mexico at Tiro al Pichón, to running errands in Concord, to driving your car
for the first time to Waterbury in a snowstorm with chains on the wheels—every moment was an adventure. And before Carlisle,
remember how much fun we had one hot summer painting your white house in front of a noisy school.

I remember you so clearly in your Carlisle home at 236 West Street—as I mentioned, how you painted the kids' room,
how creative you always were, and how you filled every corner of that house with warmth and life.

Nina dear, all these memories probably mean little to you, but truly and from the bottom of my heart, they have been,
are, and will be inside my heart forever. Thank you for being such a wonderful part of my story.

With all my love and admiration,
Lander S.

ADRIANA

Dear Nina and Craig,

I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the gift you gave to each member of the Burr family and to Lander. Your generosity means so much to all of us, and I truly appreciate your kindness and support.

I also include myself in this thank-you because I am Lander’s wife and Matías’s mom, so your gift touches our family in a very special way.

Your kindness and love have touched my heart in a very special way. I love you both so much and feel incredibly blessed to have you in my life.

With all my love,
Adri❤️.

Dear Craig & Nina,

Some of the best memories haven’t happened yet… and I have a feeling this trip will be one of them.

MARIANA

Queridos Craig y Nina,

Mariana.

GLEN

Dear Craig & Nina,

When I look back, so many great memories include the two of you.

I’ll never forget the first time I got very drunk. It was at your wedding in Saratoga, and I’m pretty sure Dad had never been so
upset with me. I still remember dads face.

I also remember helping build the pool at your house. To this day I still blame you for my back.

On a more serious note, I’ll never forget when Isabel was receiving treatment at Boston Children’s Hospital and you opened
your home to us. During a very difficult time.

You’ve always been incredibly generous. You helped us when Estructuras Fabriles was going through a difficult time.
When I resigned from Estructuras 18 year later, you trusted me with the Interlomas houses project. Looking back, that
opportunity changed the course of my life. It led me to RE/MAX, and the rest is history.

Through the years you’ve always been there, in the good times and the tough ones, always willing to listen and always
with an incredible patience and giving me the perfect words to keep going forward.

Thank you, Craig for being such an important part of my life. And thank you, Nina, for always welcoming us with so much warmth.

I feel very lucky to call you both family.

Thank you for everything.
With love,

Glen.

MERCEDES

Dear Craig and Nina,

It is hard to put into words how grateful I am for all the memories we have shared over the years.

I will always remember when Isabel was little and we had to be in Boston for her reflux treatment. You opened your home to us and made us feel so cared for. I will never forget that.

I also have wonderful memories of meeting Nina’s parents in Langau!. What incredible people. Their warmth and kindness stayed with me. Never forget the súper meal we had!

I still smile when I think about the cruise and spending time with Matthew and Lander.

And when I was going through breast cancer, you were always checking on me and making sure I was okay. That is something I carry in my heart.

Los quiero muchísimo, and I feel very blessed to have you both in my life.

With love,

Meche.

FERNANDA

I will never forget the time Craig came to Querétaro when I was nine or ten years old and gave me my first camera.
I always enjoyed your company, and I have admired you since I was a child—first for your great height (you seemed huge to me), and second for your unfailing generosity. You are a role model in every respect; your humility and sense of humor have caused that admiration to grow and remain as immense as your stature.
Thank you Craig and Nina, for everything you mean to me: an exemplary couple who always support each other unconditionally, and whose generosity has touched so many hearts.

I am so grateful for this trip and for this incredible opportunity to be together as a family.

Much Love,

Fer.
